E. James Engel
He was born in Oklahoma. After high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy before moving to Texas in 2015. He attended the University of Washington for his undergraduate degree and received his Juris Doctorate from Gonzaga School of Law in 2003. During law school he clerked for Judge Bastine, where he spent time assisting in decisions regarding family law cases. Later, he clerked for Associated Counsel of the Accused in Seattle, Washington, where he represented clients before the court in bail hearings.
In April 2018 he joined Kaliser & Associates as of counsel. He was previously licensed by the State Bar of Texas in 2012. Eric focuses his practice primarily on clients with divorce matters and those with transactional issues either in bankruptcy and involving real estate.
